Shipping:
To properly make sure you receive Free Ground Shipping
on your order when you get to the Shipping & Payment Screen on checkout
be sure to select Other Carries. This will allow you to check out without paying
for shipping! We think you should not have to worry about paying shipping costs
when shopping with MelvilleStore.com! Enjoy!!!
In order to offer Free Ground Shipping we do establish a few minimum requirements.
All orders that meet the following requirements are eligible for Free Shipping.
Orders must sub-total more then $20 USD to be eligible for free shipping. Orders
must be placed in the Continental United States. For example States such as
Hawaii and Alaska will not be eligible for Free Ground Shipping.
Free Ground Shipping orders are shipped by UPS Ground.
Tracking codes are sent when the order is complete and can be tracked at UPS

Transit Time Map (for UPS Ground shipping)
This map displays estimated transit times for orders shipped from Weymouth,
MA. The number next to the colored Square on the bottom right indicates how
many days it may take for the order to arrive in the area on the map that
corresponds with the color of the square.

area should arrive within one business day from the day they are shipped.
Selecting "Next Day Air", "2nd Day Air", or "3rd
Day Select" service for shipments to this area is not necessary, since
it is in such close proximity to the UPS distribution hub. |

The count-down map, and chart are for estimation purposes
only. They are not a promise or guarantee for the stated transit times. Actual
results may vary according to UPS workload.
UPS estimates transit time by business days. Since UPS
does not ship on Saturdays or Sundays, the actual delivery date may be different
than the estimated transit time.
For example:
An order leaving MelvilleStore.com on a Friday for Boston will not arrive until
Monday, even though it has a one day transit time.
An order leaving MelvilleStore.com on a Monday for San Diego will not arrive
until the next Monday, even though the transit time is five days.
Barring exceptions, orders are usually shipped Monday through Friday around
4:30 p.m. EST. A one day transit time is 24 hours from the time of the shipment
(excluding Saturdays and Sundays).
Rush
Orders:
For customers that just can’t wait for out candy…Well we don’t
blame you. Melville Candy Company creates your candy fresh
every time you order, because of this it may take between 1-5 days before we
ship. Most of our orders however ship within 1-2 days. However if you
need it faster then that call us at 1-800-638-8063 and one of our Candy Helpers
will be able to assist you in getting your candy even faster.
Production
and Delivery Time:
Since UPS does not ship on Saturdays or Sundays (even for express shipping),
the actual delivery date may differ from the estimated transit time. For example:
A Next Day Air order, leaving our warehouse on a Friday for San Diego, will
not arrive until Monday, even though it has a one day transit time.
Ground shipping:
Orders for items such as Flavoring Spoons are usually shipped within 24 to 48
hours, excluding weekends. Orders for items such as individual shaped lollipops
are usually shipped within 2-4 days. Barring exceptions, these orders ship out
Monday through Friday at around 4:30 pm EST. If an order is placed before 5
PM EST, the order may ship out that same day. See Above for a UPS Ground shipping
transit time map.
Express shipping (Next Day, 2nd Day, 3rd Day):
These orders are given top priority. Express orders are usually shipped within
24 hours, excluding weekends, in some circumstances it may not ship for up to
48 hours. Barring exceptions, these orders ship out Monday through Friday at
around 2:30 PM EST. If an express order is placed before 12 PM EST, it may ship
out that same day.
General
Shipping Policy: Our shipping charges
are based on standard UPS, which are based on package weight, size, and distance
shipped. To preview the shipping charges, enter the items you want to order
into your shopping cart. When you're done, click on "check out." Signup
or Enter your login information. Then click through until it says Shipping &
Payment. Click on UPS Shipping from the dropdown box. This will display all
available shipping costs.
MelvilleStore.com offers UPS Ground,
3rd Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air shipping to all of our customers
who place orders to be shipped in the United States.
Note: MelvilleStore.com can not ship to PO Boxes. Please
make sure that the shipping address is not a PO Box.
Backorders:
For the items that we do keep in inventory…You will be contacted via phone
or email if you order a backordered item. At this point you can either choose
to wait for the item, or remove it from your order. If you choose to wait, the
backordered item will ship out to you automatically just as soon as we get it
back in stock. Due to availability and vendor issues, we can only provide an
estimate as to when this will occur.
Payments for backordered items are made up front as part
of the original order. This helps to keep shipping costs down, as it would be
more expensive to charge for two separate shipments. If you choose to remove
the backordered item from your order, a refund will be issued that is consistent
with the original method of payment.
International
Shipping:
Melville Candy Company does ship internationally. Canadian customers should
just continue through the regular checkout process and you will be billed accordingly.

Return Policy:
All claims must be made within 5 days of receipt of the order. We will refund
the cost of all merchandise returns that are received in unopened and undamaged
condition, subject to a 20% restocking fee; however, we will not refund the
cost of shipping. Please contact us before at 1-800-638-8063 in order to authorize
a return. Returns will not be accepted unless prior approval. All returned merchandise
must be shipped via prepaid freight to the following address:

Cancellation of Placed Orders:
In the event that an order is cancelled more than twenty-four (24) hours after
it has been placed, the purchaser may be responsible for a twenty (20) percent
restocking fee.If the order is en route and delivery is refused, the customer
will be responsible for the full cost of shipping.
Incorrect Shipping Addresses:
If an order is unable to be delivered due to an incorrect address as provided
by purchaser, and returned to MelvilleStore.com, the purchaser will be responsible
for the full cost of shipping as well as the twenty (20) percent restocking
fee. This applies to orders that are being shipped to regular and third party
recipients.
Wrong or Missing Items:
In the event that an order is received and there is a discrepancy as to a missing
item, a claim must be submitted within two (2) business days of physical receipt
as determined by UPS tracking. We will compare items ordered as well as physical
weight of the package and issue a store credit accordingly.
